System Requirements

MPTagThat works on Windows 10 and Windows 11 with .Net Runtime 4.8 installed.

Basically any PC not older than 5 years should be able to run the Software

Installer

MpTagThat Setup is delivered as an executable installer.

It checks, if the required .Net Runtime is installed and installs it if necessary.

The dialogues below are shown during the installation:

		The first screen shown is a welcome screen
		The default folder location is shown and may be changed during installation
		The options allow specifying, if a Startup Menu and Desktop Shortcut should be created. The Explorer Context Menu option allows MPTagThat being started out of the explorer, with the current folder being selected The installer can also download a subset of the MusicBrainz database, which is used for AutoCorrection of Artists and will be used for future enhancements, like finding the correct albums. Note: This database is currently 230GB big, so the option is not selected by default. The database can be dlownloaded later via the Settings
		Finally the Start Menu folder can be selected and pressing next starts the installation. If an older version is found on the system, it is uninstalled first. All User settings are preserved.
